Homage To Muhammed Ali: Reigningchamp’s Special Collection Text

On February 25, 1964, Cassius Clay defeated Sonny Liston in a historic battle for the World Heavyweight Championship.

After the fight, the new title holder announced he was changing his name to Muhammad Ali. This satin stadium jacket features authentic tackle twill lettering, which graced many of Ali’s fighting robes. Satin stitched embroidery commemorates the date a brash 22-year-old from Louisville went from underdog to champion.
