High-calibre exhibitors, a consistent look and feel in the style of the good old days, as well as historic trade fair halls in Germany’s most international metropolis – the concept behind the MOTORWORLD Classics Berlin classic car trade fair is a convincing one.
And now it will be joined by the distinguished British auction house Coys of Kensington, who will be presenting and auctioning premium collectors’ vehicles at this year’s event, which takes place on October 5-8, 2017. Truly an accolade for MOTORWORLD Classics Berlin, which underlines the successful development of this still young trade fair.
The organisers of MOTORWORLD Classics Berlin announced the agreement with Coys of Kensington from London just a few days ago. “We are absolutely delighted that we have succeeded in bringing Coys, one of the world’s most prestigious auction houses for classic cars, to our trade fair,” comments CEO Marc Baumüller. “They are a guarantor for high quality, and at the same time they will attract an interested audience like a magnet.”
In turn, Chris Routledge, CEO of Coys of Kensington, explains why they decided to become part of MOTORWORLD Classics Berlin 2017: “We obviously work at a number of German venues and have been holding auctions in Germany since the 1980’s, but it is with great excitement that we are joining with MOTORWORLD to hold an exclusive classic car auction in Germany’s capital city.”
The Londoners will be presenting a selection of the precious items that will be coming under the hammer at the fair in Hall 12, in the immediate vicinity of the MOTORWORLD Group booth. The auction will be held live on Saturday, 7th October.
