Barber Shop Visit … With Red Wing

Going to the barber shop for a shave or a haircut might be considered being a man’s day at the spa: Some relaxing 30 minutes with good music, enjoyable nonsense discussions and a fresh and newborn feeling afterwards.

That is at least what we encounter when visiting our fellow barber Guido (Instagram: @guido_bosherz_barbier). Last time we got a fresh cut, we were able to bring our current highlights from the Red Wing shoe lineup: Guido is wearing the timeless Beckman Round, type 9016, Sebastian has brought the new Foreman Chukka, type 9215 and photographer Ben wears the all-time classic Iron Ranger, type 8111.

Foreman Chukka

We are all big fans of both barbers and Red Wing boots for their shared attributes: craftsmanship, high quality, materials and durability – as far as it goes for the boots.

About the shoes:

Part of the Beckman collection, the 9016 is a 6-Inch, round toe style boot made from exclusive Cigar Featherstone dress leather. Classic in look, a bit of polish keeps them looking sharp.

Inspired by the company’s rugged work boot heritage, Red Wing Shoes’ Foreman Chukkas combine a simple leather boot upper with Red Wing’s durable neoprene sole. The Foreman Chukka is a lightweight, classic-looking shoe that takes the timeless Chukka design and attaches it to a comfortable neoprene work sole. The 9215 features Red Wings’ premium Briar Oil Slick leather.

Iron Ranger

The 8111 is a rugged 6-Inch boot, featuring premium Amber Harness leather, chrome hardware, speed hooks, Goodyear welt construction and triple stitched quality. Its double layer leather toe cap, leather heel pocket and Nitrile Cork outsole make it a favorite.
